After working for 34 years in Indian & overseas power companies, we strongly believe that “Power or Energy demand” grows as the economy grows. If energy is “Constrained” GDP growth pulls back in turn.

In the present fast changing scenario of increasing environment pollution, a strong demand is on the rise “Renewable Energy” & “De-carbonization”.

In this site not only, we will share our experience regarding most of the critical aspects of power plants, but also new trends in Renewable Energy (RE), GHG accounting and management, Energy management & accounting, Environmental Management, Carbon foot print reduction, “Carbon neutrality”.

Our aim is to “Move towards truly sustainable world” by increasing awareness in the masses of all above mentioned critical issue the world is facing.

In 1984, I started my first job in one of the Premier power company in India. At first I was not loving the job in power plant, but as the time passed out and I involved myself in various activities, I started loving my work. The word came true “You will learn once you involve yourself”. But I was always craving for new challenges and hence I worked in various other companies of repute in India and abroad. I gained experience from concept to commissioning and O&M of power plants. 

I was head of several power plants of repute in India and abroad. But I was always thinking that if I don’t share my experience, whatever small be it, with my next generation, then there will be no value of my experience. Sharing experience means helping others to avoid mistakes as far as possible, give them enough strength for decision making, making others aware for newer technologies, Best practices etc.

Apart from power plant expert,I am certified Lead auditor of EHSMS (ISO 45001,14001,19011), CII Certified carbon foot print expert, BEE Certified Energy auditor, CII Trained expert in Environment, Energy and water management (ISO 50001, 50002, 50004, 50015, 50047, 14046, 14044).

I am Bibek Roy. I am passionate about Environment & Energy Management. I am passionate about “Sustainable development”, “Saving mother earth from pollution” and “Make the world a livable place in coming years”.
